nuwacom review at a glance: there are no public user reviews yet (OMR Reviews, as of 14 October 2026); the Business plan costs €25 per user per month billed annually, and Enterprise starts at 20 users.

nuwacom is an AI platform from Koblenz, Germany, that combines AI chat, a company knowledge base, agents and workflows in one workspace, with meeting notes, document and slide creation and self-built business apps on top. The operator is nuwacom GmbH, and per the vendor the platform describes itself as a "Secure AI Operating System for Teams". As of 14 October 2026, the Business plan costs 25 € per user per month, billed annually, excl. VAT, and there is a 7-day free trial without a credit card.

This review answers the questions buyers actually ask before a pilot: what nuwacom does, what it costs for a real team, how it handles data protection, what independent experience exists, and where it is the better choice compared with Teamo AI, Langdock and meinGPT. Every vendor fact comes from the vendor's public pricing, product and legal pages or from press coverage, checked on 14 October 2026.

What nuwacom is and who is behind it

Short answer: nuwacom is a young German AI workspace for mid-sized and large companies, run by nuwacom GmbH in Koblenz. According to deutsche-startups.de, it was founded in 2024 by Sascha Böhr, Christophe Folschette and Alexander Kleinen and raised 3.2 million euros in 2025 in a round led by Newion, with several business angels. The same report describes the business model as a per-user licence with an annual fee.

The product idea, per the vendor: one platform for people, agents and apps, held together by a "Context Engine" that stores organisational knowledge, rules, processes and results. On its website the vendor shows logos including Lufthansa, Booking.com, Debeka, IONOS and the Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Nordrhein, which it also presents as a customer story. That puts nuwacom in the same category as other German AI workbenches such as Langdock and meinGPT, and close to what we describe as a context layer for companies.

nuwacom features: what the platform does

nuwacom pricing: what it really costs

nuwacom costs 25 € per user per month on the Business plan, billed annually, as of 14 October 2026 (excl. VAT). For a team of 50 that is 1,250 € per month, or 15,000 € committed for the year. The pricing page shows a 16 % discount for annual billing but no separate monthly price. Enterprise starts at 20 users with pricing on request.

Two things matter for the budget. First, heavier work (presentations, long documents, complex workflows, agents, external chatbots) is covered by add-ons: Premium at 49 € and Power at 99 € per user per month, both billed annually, adjustable at any time. Alternatively there is a company-wide AI budget that admins distribute across teams, without a published price. Second, several features buyers in regulated industries care about sit in Enterprise: knowledge base sync, Privacy Mode (PII scrubbing), DORA and § 203 StGB support, SLA and hosting in Germany on STACKIT. For a broader view of seat prices in this market, see our ChatGPT Enterprise cost breakdown.

Budget tip: start everyone on Business and use the 7-day trial to find out which roles really need Premium or Power. A team that mostly chats and searches knowledge rarely needs the add-on; a team that builds presentations and long reports every day might. Ask the vendor in writing how the Business allowance is measured before you sign an annual contract.

Is nuwacom GDPR compliant?

Per the vendor, yes: nuwacom states GDPR compliance, ISO 27001 certification, EU-only data processing and storage, and that customer data is never used to train AI models. By default the platform runs on the Microsoft Azure EU cloud, with STACKIT and IONOS as options; the vendor's fact page names Frankfurt am Main as the preferred server location. For larger customers there are single-tenant (from 1,000 users), bring-your-own-cloud (from 2,000) and on-premise (from 4,000) options.

For regulated industries, the Enterprise plan names support for § 203 StGB (professional secrecy, relevant for tax advisers, lawyers and doctors) and the EU's Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) for financial entities. Whatever the badges say, your obligations as the controller stay with you: check the data processing agreement against Art. 28 GDPR with our DPA checklist for EU AI chats, and read the German data protection authorities' guidance on AI and data protection.

nuwacom reviews: what independent experience exists

Honest answer: as of 14 October 2026 there are hardly any independent user reviews of nuwacom yet. On OMR Reviews, the German B2B review platform, the product profile shows zero reviews on that date. That is not a criticism of the product. The company was founded in 2024, and young B2B platforms sold through annual contracts typically collect public reviews slowly.

What you can rely on instead: the named reference customers on the vendor's website, the customer story with KV Nordrhein, and above all your own trial. Seven days is short for a knowledge platform, so prepare your test cases before you start (see the steps below). If you need a structured baseline of how your teams use AI today before any pilot, our free AI usage survey gives you one in a few minutes.

nuwacom strengths

  • Very broad feature set in one plan: chat, knowledge base, agents, workflows, notetaker, slides, apps

  • Transparent list price for Business (25 €/user/month) and a 7-day trial without a credit card

  • Sovereign hosting options: Azure EU, STACKIT, IONOS, single-tenant, BYOC, on-premise

  • Per vendor ISO 27001 certified, with § 203 StGB and DORA support in Enterprise

  • Around 80 listed connectors plus MCP and API for your own systems

  • Agent approvals and a central audit log, per vendor

Points to check before buying

  • Business is billed annually; no separate monthly price is shown

  • Heavy use (slides, long documents, complex workflows) may need the 49 € or 99 € add-on

  • Knowledge base sync, Privacy Mode and Germany-only hosting are Enterprise features (from 20 users)

  • Few independent user reviews so far (0 on OMR Reviews as of 14 Oct 2026)

  • 7 days is a short window to evaluate a knowledge platform

nuwacom vs Teamo AI, Langdock and meinGPT

nuwacom and Teamo AI solve a very similar problem: both connect company knowledge, AI models and agents across your tools, with permissions, approvals and audit logs. The difference lies in shape and price. nuwacom is a broad workspace with its own content tools (notetaker, slides, documents, apps) and deep hosting options for large, regulated organisations. Teamo AI is built as a team context layer: it connects Slack, Teams, Jira, Notion, HubSpot, Pipedrive, your calendar and any in-house API (an AI integration assistant reads the API documentation and sets up the integration), and it reaches people where they already talk, including Slack, Microsoft Teams and WhatsApp for deskless staff. nuwacom also lists Slack, Teams and WhatsApp among its connectors, so test in both trials whether a channel works as a chat interface or as a data source for your use case.

On price, the gap is concrete. For 50 users, nuwacom Business is 1,250 € per month (billed annually), Teamo AI 498.50 € per month (9.97 € per user, no minimum seats), Langdock 1,250 € per month for the Standard seat, and meinGPT 900 € per month for the licence (18 € per user for users 1 to 50, already including a 10 % annual discount) plus a separate model budget, for example 9 € per user fixed. All prices as of 14 October 2026, from each vendor's pricing page; Langdock and nuwacom state excl. VAT, meinGPT's page does not state VAT. Where nuwacom is the better choice

nuwacom is the better choice when you want content production and AI work in one place, or when your compliance brief demands hosting options that go beyond a standard EU cloud. Concretely, we would pick nuwacom over Teamo AI in four situations.

One: meetings and documents are the core use case. A notetaker with and without a bot, plus document, slide and image creation inside the same platform, is a real strength. If that is your main use case, nuwacom covers it natively in the Business plan.

Two: you are a regulated organisation with explicit hosting requirements. STACKIT hosting in Germany, single-tenant from 1,000 users, BYOC and on-premise options, plus named support for § 203 StGB and DORA, are hard requirements in banking, insurance, health and professional services. If your auditor wants exactly that, nuwacom has it on its price list.

Three: you want employees to build their own small apps from natural-language prompts. Four: you are rolling out to hundreds or thousands of desk-based employees and value an adoption programme with department workspaces and champions, which the vendor describes on its website.

Teamo AI is the better fit when price per seat and a long trial matter, when knowledge sits in live tools rather than documents, and when you need people to work with the AI in the channels they already use. If you are a small team, our guide to AI platforms for small businesses helps you weigh it.

How to test nuwacom in 7 days

1

Step 1: Pick three real use cases before day one

Seven days pass quickly. Write down three tasks your team does every week, for example answering a customer question from internal documents, summarising a meeting and drafting the follow-up, or preparing a proposal. If you are unsure where AI helps most, run the free AI readiness assessment first.

2

Step 2: Connect one real source and test permissions

Connect one system your team actually uses and ask, as a user who should not see a certain document, for exactly that document. Per the vendor, AI actions follow the access rights of the source systems; verify that with your own data.

3

Step 3: Build one agent with an approval step

Take one of your use cases, build it as an agent, and set an approval before any action with external effect. Check what the audit log records afterwards.

4

Step 4: Measure usage against the Business allowance

Note which tasks hit the limits of the Business plan. That tells you whether you would need Premium (49 €) or Power (99 €) for some roles, which changes the annual budget considerably.

5

Step 5: Clarify contract and data protection in writing

Ask for the DPA, the subprocessor list and, if relevant, the Enterprise terms for § 203 StGB or DORA. Compare the result with at least one alternative under the same test cases, so your decision rests on evidence rather than a demo.

Teamo AI: no minimum seats, no sales call

Run the same test cases against Teamo AI. 9.97 € per user per month, no minimum seats. Teamo AI connects Slack, Teams, Jira, Notion, HubSpot, Pipedrive, your calendar and in-house APIs, with permissions per person and team, approval steps and audit logs, hosted in the EU. 14 days free, no credit card, your team invited in minutes.

nuwacom review in five sentences

nuwacom is an AI platform by nuwacom GmbH from Koblenz that bundles chat, knowledge base, agents, workflows, a meeting notetaker, document and slide creation and business apps. Business costs 25 € per user per month billed annually (excl. VAT, as of 14 Oct 2026), with 49 € and 99 € add-ons for heavy use and Enterprise from 20 users. Per the vendor it is ISO 27001 certified, hosts in the EU on Azure by default and offers STACKIT, BYOC and on-premise for larger customers. Independent user reviews are still scarce, so your own 7-day test carries the decision. Choose nuwacom for a broad content-and-AI workspace or strict hosting requirements; choose Teamo AI for a lower seat price, a 14-day trial and agents across the tools and chat channels your team already uses.
